Purpose

This annual plan outlines how Post Oak Family Wellness delivers accessible, community-centered mental health and parenting support throughout the year. It provides funders and partners with a clear view of how resources are deployed over time to support outreach, engagement, measurable outcomes, and long-term sustainability.

Our work emphasizes prevention, equity, and practical tools that strengthen families where they are — at home, online, and within their communities.


Q1: Foundation & Awareness

Focus: Outreach, baseline education, and access-building

During the first quarter, we focus on expanding access to foundational mental health and parenting resources while building pathways for families to engage more deeply with our services.

Programs & Activities

  • Launch parenting quizzes and self-assessment tools to help caregivers identify needs and stressors
  • Launch or expand Mindful Mom & Dad™ free parenting guides
  • Grow our mailing list and community reach
  • Offer introductory webinars and light support groups to lower barriers to entry

Q2: Community Engagement & Virtual Support

Focus: Connection, consistency, and live engagement

In the second quarter, we deepen engagement by offering ongoing virtual support and structured educational programming, while beginning formal outcome tracking.

  • Weekly Mindful Mom & Dad™ virtual support circles
  • Launch the Resilience in Parenting Webinar Series
  • Collect attendance data, participant feedback, and early outcome measures
