
The Grounded Teacher was founded by Samantha Binstock Lubin, M.Ed., LPC-Associate—an early childhood educator turned licensed therapist.
After spending years in the classroom, Samantha transitioned into mental health counseling and quickly realized that many of her former colleagues—fellow teachers—were struggling more than anyone realized.
She heard stories of daily overwhelm, anxiety, emotional exhaustion, and unhealthy coping patterns. Teachers were turning to alcohol to manage stress. They felt invisible to their administrators, blamed by parents, and too financially strained to afford professional support.
“I realized that so many of them were spiraling,” Samantha says, “not because they didn’t care—but because they cared so much.”
The Grounded Teacher is her response: a heart-led space offering simple, accessible emotional support and coping tools made for educators. With printables, breathing exercises, short audio resets, and reflection prompts, it’s designed to meet teachers where they are—with compassion, affordability, and care.
It’s not a clinical program. It’s not another training.
It’s a breath. A pause. A step back toward wholeness.
